Interinstitutional Post-graduate Studies in Science and Technology (PICYT)

It is an interinstitutional and multidisciplinary program that offers Master’s and Doctoral degrees, with emphasis in professional skills and investigation, respectively.

It began operating in 1998 and it is the result of the collaboration work of 7 Centers of the SEP- CONACYT System: CIDESI, CIDETEQ, and CIATEQ in Queretaro; CIATEJ in Jalisco, COMIMSA in Coahuila, CIATEC and CIO in the State of Guanajuato.

Both programs are recognized by CONACYT’s National Program of Quality Graduate Studies (Programa Nacional de Posgrados de Calidad, or PNPC), as follows:

• The Interinstitutional Master in Science and Technology with the “Consolidated” level until 2022.
• The Interinstitutional PhD in Science and Technology with the “Recent Creation” level until 2021.
