Testing optical and mechanical lab

Activities:

Development of experimental arrangements by using laser light and white light as well as the algorithms and software to carry out macro and micro measurements of physical quantities such as topography, temperature and mechanical stress.

Optical techniques:

Moire and speckle interferometry, digital holography, structured light projection and digital processing of fringe patterns.

Available equipment:

Antivibration tables, lasers, CCD cameras, spatial light modulator, software and hardware to control and processing.

Collaboration with other institutions and research groups:

Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Università degli Studi della Basilicata (Italy).
