Research fields

GPOM group does research work on

  • Organic photonics and opto-electronics.
  • Basic and applied spectroscopy.

Working on these fields, the GPOM persuades:

  • Development and study of inorganic and organic photonic materials, taking into account their linear and nonlinear optical properties both in bulk and in nanostructures.
  • Implementation of photonic materials into opto-electronic devices such as solar cells, LEDs and sensors.
  • Development of instrumentation and the application of spectroscopic techniques for the industry

To achieve the above subjects the GPOM group has two laboratories

  • 1) Materials lab with 98 m2.
  • 2) Spectroscopy lab of 80 m2.

For any visit to our laboratories please, contact directly with any of the GPOM researcher members.

Bachelor and graduate students interested in any professional internship and/or conducting research/thesis work are welcome.

Any research colleague interested in visiting us is very welcome too.
