Julio C. Estrada, earned his Ph.D. in Optics Science at Centro de Investigaciones en Optica (CIO), Mexico, on interferogram analysis and phase demodulation methods. He is distinguished by the Mexican Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) as a member of the National Research System (SNI) level II with a grant for his research. Currently he is working on improving methods for structured light and studies on ultrafast optics and its applications. He is making his postdoc at the Camera Culture Group in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab, Cambridge MA, United States.
