Personal information:

Ph. D.  in experimental physics from Essex University U.K.   He has been involved in research on several types of lasers like N2 lasers, He-Cu- hollow cathode lasers, Nd:YAG, Ti:Saphire . He is author or co-author of 19 publications; he is currently working on dynamics of solid state lasers.  He has been in teaching on laser physics and directed PhD students; he has also directed some projects on lasers sponsored by CONACYT Mexico

 

Research interests:

Dynamics of solid state lasers, short pulse generation, chaos in lasers, chaos control and its applications in cryptography and dynamic stabilization of lasers.
