Optical División (DIVO).:

The Optical Divisions work in coordination with the Research Direction  in order to strengthen the existing lines of research, to suggest mechanisms meant to stimulate innovative and scientific-academic-technological productivity among the researchers in each Division; to aid in the solution of problems that might arise within the existing Research Groups, as well as to promote the development of new research lines that will lead to research projects with a larger socio-economic, scientific and academic impact.

In computer-aided vision, prototypes are implemented for the digitilazition of objects.
